In the autumm of 2005 Riem de Wolff (The Blue Diamonds) recorded a new album in the Deans studio in Kirkby, Liverpool.

Besides John Pettifer from The Deans (guitarist en producer) is Sarah Jory al very special ‘guest’ musician on this album.

The album contains a good mixture of country like songs as Forever Blue from Chris Isaak, Lovin’ All Night From Rodney Crowell, Black Coffee from Lacy Dalton, Crazy ‘Bout You Baby from Billy Ray Cyrus and I Shall Be Released from Bob Dylan transferred to an Eagles like sound.
Swinging jivers as Mona Lisa, Hot Dog en Ice Cold complete with a brass section.

Two earlier released songs from The Blue Diamonds, of course with a modern version of Ramona (sold appr. 15 million copies), the Everly song So Sad, Then She Kissed Me and Back on Track, one of Riem’s own songs. Three songs –written by Dries (Andres) Holten- included the duet with Sarah Jory brings the total number of songs on this album on 14.

It becomes a contemporary album on which Riem want to let his audience know that the 40 years of Blue Diamonds are definitively finished.
A new Riem de Wolff is “Back on Track’.
